On the New Year’s Opera Gala, the Belgrade audience had an opportunity to enjoy the most popular Opera arias and unforgetable Neapolitan songs, performed by the distinguished artists accompanied by the “Stanislav Binicki” Symphony Orchestra under the batton of Mo Dejan Savic.

The audience was enchanted by the leading soprano of Beograd National Opera Suzana Suvakovic – Savic, Giorgio Casciarri, the tenor from Milan’s La Scala, David Bizic from Opera de Paris and the Mixed Choir of RTS.

The soloistic trio brilliantly performed the arias, duettos and trios from their repertory, enjoying its performance as much as the public.

On the program was the music from the famous operas by Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti, Bizet, Mozart and others.

Bariton David Bizic, who is succesfully appearing in the most prominent European Opera companies, sung in his native town for the first time.

The audience was thrilled by the “Stanislav Binicki” Orchestra after a period of absence, but the excellent RTS Mixed Choir gave their trubute to the great atmosphere of the concert.

This performance continues the tradition of New Year’s Opera Gala evenings, which will be going on for at least next five seasons, as told by the Music Programes Executive of Sava Center mr Milan Lazovic, due to the partnership with the “Gala Concert” company of mr Sasa Gabric, founded for this purpose.
